Some pretty big casting news has been released for JJ Abrams new Star Trek 2 movie over the last couple of weeks. 4 names, some of which you may know, and some you may not have been announced and one of them I'm really happy about. You'll have to guess that one though.
The names so far are:
Peter Weller (famous for Robocop) - Unknown dignitary
Alice Eve (She's out of my league, Men in Black III) - New unnamed character
Noel Clarke (Mickey from Doctor Who and the director of films like Adulthood & 4,3,2,1 etc) - A family man (?)
Benedict Cumberbatch (BBC1's Sherlock) - Main villain (supposedly)!
Awesome stuff if it's all true, and of course if you didn't guess it's Cumberbatch that I'm the most happy about (no not Alice Eve!). His acting in Sherlock has been truly amazing and I can't wait to see him on the big screen with the possibility of playing the main antagonist!
